Each time Katya accomplished a task the Czar will burst out of laughter. The Czar asid to Katya " Will you marry me".Katya replied " I will if you promise me one thing". "What's that?" asked the Czar. She said that if the Czar ever get fed up of her and send her back home, she wil have to take one thing that she likes best in the palace and the Czar promised. So, Katya married the Czar and for a year they lived happily ever after. But one night the Czar was in a bad mood and quarrelled with Katya. The Czar said ' You think you're soclever,'. 'Well, you can go back and be clever in your father's house .' he called his servants and told them to get a cart ready to take Katya home. All Katya said was, ' You look tired. Have a cushion on your head.' Th cushion was very soft . The Czar closed his eyes and Katya nbegan to sing softly . Before long Katya began to sing softly. When the servants came back, Katya gave them a big chest and told them to put it on the cart.' My clothes are in there,' she said. ' Your clothes are very heavy,' said the servants, but they heaved the chest onto the cart . The servants took Katya home. She was very happy to see her father, same goes to her father to. Her father was very shocked to see the Czar who is in a chest. When Czar woke up he was very angry to see his wife, Katya brought him to her house. ' YOU WICKED GIRL. HOW DARE YOU KIDNAP THE CZAR OF RUSSIA!!! the Czar said furiously. Don't you remember your promise? Katya asked. ' What promise???' he asked. 'You said that if you got fed up of me and send me away you would let me have something precious from your castle.' The Czar laughed. He jumped out of the chest and hugged Katya. ' You were right,' he said to the farmer. 'Your daughter is the smartest person in Russia and I will never send her away again.'
